Problem & Partnership

One Little Planet, born from Hong Kong-based Pucky and backed by powerhouse PopMart, needed a scalable way to bring its immensely popular Pucky and Poe art toys into the digital realm. The real-world production capacity couldn’t keep up with demand—drops were selling out in minutes—so the team envisioned a digital-first ecosystem to step in where physical manufacturing couldn’t.

Polyform joined to lead a structured Discovery engagement, unpacking the emotional drivers behind collectible culture—scarcity, pride, surprise—and translating them into digital behaviors. We collaborated closely on research, user testing, and facilitated innovation workshops that resulted in a thoughtful AR experience and Web3-ready commerce flow rooted in authenticity and hype.

Project Description

Polyform designed and prototyped a rich digital experience layered with AR interactions that preserved the thrill of unboxing and the routine of displaying and trading collectibles. Features included an AR unboxing game, AR showcase shelf, AR video share tools, and collectible trading cards that unlocked exclusive NFTs via QR code—deepening the connection between the physical and digital realms
